Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Balneario Camboriú, and from there, we'll set off on this day trip to Florianópolis, also known as "Floripa."
As soon as we enter the city, we'll be greeted by one of the most typical landmarks: theHercílio Luz Bridge. This steel construction, which connects the island of Santa Catarina with the mainland, is the second-longest suspension bridge in Brazil.
While we walk through the historic center, we'll discover the influence of Portuguese culture in the city. We'll see the Florianópolis Cathedral, built in the same area where the city's founder, Dias Velho, was killed by pirates at the end of the 17th century.
Then, we'll pass by Praça XV de Novembro and the Cruz e Sousa Palace, which has housed the Historical Museum of Santa Catarina since 1986. We'll see the public market, one of the city's major tourist attractions, located in a building that is over 100 years old.
Next, we'll take you to the Lagoa da Conceição viewpoint and Praia da Barra da Lagoa, where you'll have 2 hours of free time. We recommend taking a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters and trying some local specialties.
Afterward, we'll head back to the starting point, where we'll finally say our goodbyes after a total of 9 hours.
