At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Boca del Rio before heading south to the coastal town of Alvarado.
This charming community is located at the mouth of the Blanco and Papaloapan rivers, where it developed its main industry, fishing. We'll stroll through the streets and the guide will tell you all about the fascinating history of Pedro de Alvarado, founder of the city.
We then head to the Papaloapan River to enjoy a boat ride. During the trip, you'll enjoy the lush green landscapes that rise up on the banks of the river.
After, we'll go to the city of Tlacotalpan, which is the perfect fusion of the Caribbean and Spanish culture. We'll take a guided tour to discover the emblematic places of the city, like the Church of the Virgin of the Candelaria and the House-Museum of the musician and poet, Agustín Lara.
After the visit, we'll head to the Papaloapan River to enjoy a boat ride. During the trip, you'll enjoy the lush green landscapes that rise on the banks of the river.
Lastly, you'll have approximately 2 hours of free time for lunch. You'll have the chance to savor the delicious gastronomy of Tlacotalpan in one of its local restaurants.
After lunch, we'll get into the vehicle again and take you back to your hotel in Boca del Rio, arriving at around 6 pm.
