Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Palacio Lezama. Once we're all ready, we'll embark on a walking tour of the art galleries in San Telmo. Time to discover the artistic side of one of the Argentinian capital's most bohemian neighbourhoods!
Our first stop will take place at Linse Galería, which stands out for its experimental approach with proposals that challenge traditional artistic formats. What kind of creations will we see? Will we question our concept of art in this place?
Afterwards, we'll go in search of the Fundación El Mirador, which is distinguished by its great commitment and support for emerging artists. There, we'll discover the most promising projects of the local art scene. Next, at W-Galería, we'll find a fusion between art and minimalist design. The sensation of emptiness in each room is curiously linked to the abstract forms of the paintings and sculptures. You'll be amazed!
The fourth stop is Piedras, a space managed by artists who prioritise the collective and self-managed soul of their creations. We'll then continue on to Calvaresi, where the exhibitions are in close dialogue with the architectural heritage of the building. It's an old restored jewel that maintains the spirit and aesthetics of the period.
In each of the galleries we'll discover secrets of the first galleries of San Telmo and even anecdotes that marked the artistic identity of the area. Without a doubt, it will be an open door to the art of Argentina, where we'll get to know fresh creations full of meaning and reflection.
After 3 hours, we'll say goodbye to the tour at the entrance of the San Telmo Market, where art mingles with antique stalls, shop windows and cafés.
