Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chaves on board an off-roading vehicle.
First, we'll head to the castle of Chaves, where we'll learn about the history of this legendary medieval fortification. This is not the only monument from that decade still standing in the city; we'll also visit the forts of São Francisco and São Neutel, and discover their exciting past.
We'll continue the tour of Chaves, with its famous stone bridge over the Tâmega River. Did you know that Trajan, the first Hispanic emperor in history, ordered the construction of this footbridge? From there, we'll make our way to the so-called kilometre 0- we'll discover the significance of this interesting place!
Next, we'll return to Chaves to visit its famous Roman thermal baths. After a journey of 3 hours, we'll finish the tour by taking you back to your hotel.
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at the designated time at the hotel that you indicated during the booking process. Please be ready 10 minutes early.
