Enjoy an exciting day in the Huasteca Waterfalls with this fantastic trip from Ciudad Valles. You'll jump, descend, and swim in its crystal pool of emerald water!
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Ciudad Valles at the designated time and we'll take a 40-minute road trip through the province of San Luis Potosí to reach the Micos River. Get ready to discover the beautiful Cascades of the Huasteca!
Once we're on the shore, we'll receive a brief presentation from the monitor. With the lesson learned, we'll start the river circuit. We'll admire the Cascada del Toro (Bull's Waterfall) and, just a few steps away, we'll discover an idyllic, small 5 metres (16-foot) waterfall, the first, which we'll jump into!
We'll continue to experience a rush of adrenaline in 5 more waterfalls. If heights are not your thing and you still want to participate, you'll be able to jump only the smallest waterfalls. There is even one that is only 15 cm (6 inches) high!
We'll return to the road to change the Micos River for the Minas Viejas spot, about 2 hours away. During the journey, we'll enjoy a tasty energy bar and an iced tea. Upon arriving, we'll then go to the Minas Viejas Waterfall and equip ourselves ready for rappelling.
For about 2 hours, we'll descend the waterfall, contemplating the landscapes and refreshing ourselves in the waterfall. Afterward, we'll head to Minas Viejas for lunch at a local restaurant where we'll taste a traditional dish cooked over wood and a drink.
At 6:30 pm, we'll be back in Ciudad Valles and we'll accompany you to the accommodation where the trip finishes.
