Gaudí's El Capricho

You'll make your way to the entrance of Gaudí's El Capricho at your chosen time and start enjoying one of Antoni Gaudí's few works outside Catalonia. This modernist mansion in Comillas is full of oriental, Islamic, and Nasrid details.

Outside, you'll see man-made grottoes, carefully cared-for gardens, and a 66-foot (20-metre) high minaret clad in ceramic. Look out for the wrought iron found in many corners of the villa, as well as the numerous tiles decorated with sunflowers.

You'll be able to wander through the entrance hall, the visitors' room, the conservatory, the attic and the bathroom. In addition, you'll see stained-glass windows and meticulous woodwork in many of the rooms. There are also numerous allusions to music hidden inside the building, such as pentagrams in the borders, bees playing the guitar in stained glass windows and railings shaped like treble clefs.
