Ready for an unforgettable trip on the Maria Fumaça train? After picking you up at the designated time at your hotel, we'll head to the station of the "wine train," as this picturesque railway is popularly known. On this train ride, you'll traverse the most bucolic landscapes of the Serra Gaúcha.
During the journey, we'll enjoy a gaucho and Italian music show, which honors the cultural fusion between the locals and Italian immigrants. We'll soon reach our first stop, the Aurora Winery, in the town of Bento Gonçalves. At this winery, we'll disembark the train to learn all about the wine tradition and the elaboration process of this region's wine. Of course, we'll conclude this visit with a wine tasting!
Afterward, we'll set off to the Epopeia Italiana theme park, where you'll see historical shows about the arrival of the Italians to the Serra Gaúcha. Our next stop will be at Tramontina, where you'll have free time to shop and enjoy this serene, rural spot. Then, we'll go to the Fetina de Formaio cheese shop, where you'll not only enjoy tasting cheese at your own pace but also learn about the region's pioneering cheese industry.
Our last stop will be at Malhas G'Dom. Here, we'll tour the facilities to learn about the traditional weaving process and the delicate selection of threads that have been practiced for 38 years. You'll surely fall in love with these fine textiles!
Finally, we'll start our journey back to the Maria Fumaça train and say our goodbyes at your hotel after a total of 12 hours.
