At the appointed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Guadalajara and head to the Tequila Selecto distillery. Are you ready for a journey full of history, tradition, and flavor? Let's go!
After a 30-minute drive, we'll arrive at our destination and take a 1-hour guided tour of their facilities, which perfectly combine centuries-old tradition with innovation. We will walk among the agave fields, visit the masonry ovens, and see the copper stills where the magic of distillation takes place. Before finishing, we will have a tasting of their tequilas, liqueurs, and handmade creams.
We'll continue the tour at the Tequila Castle, a family-owned distillery that stands out for its imposing architecture and its deep-rooted history in the land of Jalisco. We'll tour its subway cellars and discover each step of the elaboration process, from the slow cooking of the agave to the distillation. Of course, our visit wouldn't be complete without tasting three tequilas that represent the essence of this house. Cheers!
Afterward, you'll have free time to relax at El Castillo Bar, where we'll sample a traditional cantarito. This refreshing drink is served in an earthenware glass, mixing tequila, citrus, and soda with a touch of salt, a perfect refreshing moment.
After exploring the Tequila Castle for 2.5 hours, we'll head to the Magical Town of Tequila, where you'll have 2 hours of free time to stroll through its colorful streets, take pictures, buy handicrafts, and have lunch.
To end the day on a high note, we'll go to the famous Cantaritos El Güero, a cheerful, festive, and authentically Jalisco place. Here we'll soak up the fun atmosphere for 2 hours.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel after 9 hours of adventure.
