On this wine tour through Guanajuato, we'll discover the great winemaking tradition of this Mexican state and enjoy a select wine tasting – not to be missed!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guanajuato and drive to the vineyards of the Cuna de Tierra winery. The minibus ride will take about an hour. Are you ready to learn all the secrets of the fine wine of the Bajio region of Mexico?
The Cuna de Tierra winery, with more than 30 hectares, currently produces 6 types of red wine and 1 white wine. Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour of the winery facilities, which were designed by the architects Ignacio Urquiza Seoane and Bernardo Quinzaños Oria.
Next, we'll go up to the Torre de Tierra viewpoint to appreciate the vineyards and olive trees from above. The visit will continue in the production area and in the underground cellar.
Finally, we'll enjoy a tasting of 3 wines guided by an expert sommelier. We'll pair these wines with regional cheeses, cold meats, bread, and honey.
After the tasting, we'll return to your hotel in Guanajuato, where we'll arrive 4.5 hours after the initial pickup.
