Caixa D'água Hiking Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Imbituba and head to Caixa D'água, an area full of waterfalls ideal to enjoy a day in nature.
Upon arrival at our destination, we'll set off on a hiking route while admiring this dazzling enclave, created by Henrique Lage in order to preserve nature here in Santa Catarina. During the medium-difficulty hike, we'll observe the native plant and wildlife of this region of southern Brazil. We'll see açaí trees, garapuvus, and many other local plants.
The hike will take us to the top of the Caixa D'água trail, where we'll get breathtaking views of the Baleia-Franca Environmental Protection Area. We'll also tell you a lot of fascinating fun facts about this area and how they protect the southern right whales that pass through here between the months of June and November.
We'll then see the Santa Marta Lighthouse, the Lagoa de Santo Antônio dos Anjos complex, and the south of Florianópolis. Don't forget your camera!
After approximately four hours of hiking, we'll return to your hotel in Imbituba.
