At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Playa del Carmen to begin this trip to the Coba Ruins, an archeological site filled with history and charm. Are you ready for an adventure in the Mayan jungle? Let's go!
Upon arrival, we'll explore this fascinating area for 45 minutes as we uncover the secrets of this ancient civilization and its traditions. Afterward, you'll have free time to explore and take keepsake pictures of this impressive place.
After the visit, we'll set off to Río Secreto, a natural gem that will take your breath away. First, we'll provide you with all the necessary equipment and the instructions for the tour.
Before we reach Xibalba, the name of the Mayan underworld, we'll explore the trails of the reserve, where you'll be greeted with a traditional Mayan welcome. This ritual will be the start of this unforgettable experience!
Then, we'll walk and swim along 2624 feet (800 meters) of stunning underground rivers. The stalactites and stalagmites formations will transport you to a world that seems to have come out of a dream. You'll be impressed by its beauty and serenity!
After wrapping up this underground tour, we'll say cheers with Xtabentún, a traditional liquor with Mayan origins from the region. Afterward, you'll see the pictures taken during this adventure and enjoy a well-deserved delicious buffet-style lunch.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Playa del Carmen, where we'll say goodbye after 8 hours filled with culture, nature, and fun.
