Tickets to the Pompeii Archaeological Site
At the designated time, you'll need to head to Via Roma, number 32, right in the center of the city of Pompeii. Here, you'll be able to redeem your tickets to the archaeological site and pick up your audio guide. You'll also receive a map with different suggested routes to organize your visit according to your preferences.
Just a 5-minute walk away, you'll find one of the main access gates to the ancient Roman city: the Porta Anfiteatro. Once inside, you can explore the ruins of Pompeii at your own pace, discover temples, thermal baths, theaters, and houses that preserve spectacular frescoes and mosaics.
During your tour, you can't miss the stunning Teatro Grande and the Stabian Baths, the oldest Roman baths in the world. Did you know they were built between the 3rd and 4th centuries B.C.?
We also recommend you pass by the famous House of the Faun, one of the most impressive Roman residences in Pompeii, and the Lupanar, the brothel where you'll still see paintings on its walls. Without a doubt, it'll be a very complete tour of this city buried by Mount Vesuvius' lava. Journey back to the year 79 A.C.!
Audio Guide
Thanks to the audio guide in English, you'll be able to follow the 2 to 6-hour tour, depending on your pace. Plus, you can stay inside the archaeological site as long as you want, within the opening times. After the tour, you'll need to return the audio guide to the office where you picked it up.
Please note that earphones are not included, so you'll need to bring your own.
