Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Posadas for an unforgettable tour of Misiones, the most northeastern province of Argentina.
The first stop will be at the Salto Encantado Provincial Park. In this protected area of Misiones, we'll see the impressive waterfall of Salto Encantado, which reaches a height of 64 metres (209 feet). During our visit to the park, we'll also see other waterfalls, such as the Salto la Olla and the Picaflor waterfall.
After visiting the provincial park, we'll go to the town of San Ignacio where you'll have time to get lunch. After lunch, we'll take a guided tour of the Jesuit ruins of San Ignacio Miní, founded by the Jesuit father San Roque Conzález de Santa Cruz in 1611.
From there, we'll continue our trip to the Parque Temático de la Cruz theme park, where we'll see the iconic Cruz de Santa Ana, found 360 metres (1181 feet) above sea level. This enormous 52-metre (170-feet) metallic crucifix is astounding. Whoever wishes can also go up to the viewpoint, from where you'll have incredible scenic views of the Paraná River.
Finally, we'll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel in Posadas, where we're scheduled to arrive 12 hours after pickup.
