We'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Morelos at the designated time to start a food tour that'll leave your mouth watering. Are you ready to try the best tacos in this port town?
Once we're in the city centre, we'll get out of the vehicle and start to stroll around admiring iconic places such as the Puerto Morelos Lighthouse or the Parroquia of San José Obrero. During the tour, we'll go in search of the best Mexican taco restaurants to try the specialities of each place, which will leave you wanting more!
In total, we'll visit 3 different places and in each of them, we'll have two tacos including fish, beef stew, vegetarian, or cochinita pibil (slow-roasted pork) tacos. Which one will be your favourite? We'll also visit an artisanal ice cream parlour where we'll enjoy a delicious ice cream.
Of course, we'll also enjoy a tequila tasting. Between tastings, we'll tell you some interesting facts about these culinary delights and explain to you how deeply rooted they are in the town.
Before returning to your accommodation, we'll leave you with 30 minutes of free time to visit the local street market. Can you resist doing some shopping?
After 4 hours of sightseeing, we'll say goodbye and drop you back at your hotel.
