On this trip to the San Cristóbal Interpretation Center, we'll discover the origins of the Galápagos Islands and visit the spectacular Punta Carola beach. You're going to fall in love!
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up on foot at your hotel in San Cristóbal and walk to our first stop of the day: the San Cristóbal Interpretation Center, also known as the Gianni Arismendy Environmental Interpretation Center.
Once there, we'll explore on foot while learning some of the most fascinating facts about the Galápagos Islands and uncovering their mysteries. How were they formed? Why are they so far from the mainland? How did certain species reach them? A genuinely fascinating visit!
After our walk through the Interpretation Center, we'll continue on foot to Punta Carola beach, a small cove barely 300 meters (984 feet) long surrounded by dry forest, where we'll discover the large colony of sea lions that live here. The scenery is incredible!
After 3 hours, we'll walk you back to the meeting point on the island of San Cristóbal.
