Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet up at the Fisherman’s Wharf Sign and set off on a guided open-air tour through some of San Francisco's most iconic neighborhoods. With nothing between you and the city, you'll get unobstructed views and a real feel for its streets and hills.

We'll travel through classic neighborhoods such as North Beach, Chinatown, Russian Hill, and Nob Hill, passing filming locations from Bullitt, The Rock, and Mrs. Doubtfire as your local guide shares stories, history, and film trivia along the way.

Then comes the highlight of the ride: a descent down Lombard Street, the world-famous crooked street. We'll also make dedicated photo stops at Coit Tower, the Palace of Fine Arts, and scenic viewpoints overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, each offering unforgettable views of the city and the bay.

Along the route, we'll take in Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Fort Mason, the Marina District, the Presidio, Pacific Heights, and Billionaires Row.

After the open-air tour, we'll drop you off near the Alcatraz ferry terminal at Pier 33, where you'll have time to grab a bite to eat before boarding the official ferry, which usually departs around 12:30 pm.

Alcatraz Island

You'll then take the ferry on your own and, once on Alcatraz Island, you'll be able to explore the historic former prison freely. You'll get to use the included award-winning audio guide, which brings the cellblocks, recreation yard, and dramatic island views to life.

Hop back on the ferry and, after a total of approximately 5 hours, the experience will wrap up back at Pier 33, leaving you free to continue exploring San Francisco at your own pace.
