Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in São Paulo and from there we'll head to Paranapiacaba, a district of the municipality of Santo André. Let's go!
Throughout our guided tour, we'll learn about the origins of the area, linked to English architecture and a particular railroad built in the 19th century. Did you know this very railroad was used to transport coffee produced within Sao Paulo all the way to the Santos Port?
As we walk through the streets of this town, you'll see that the landscape continues to be crossed by tracks and steel cables, surrounded by the majesty of the Atlantic Forest. In addition, we'll visit some of its historic buildings, such as the Castle Museum and the Funicular Museum.
At noon, we'll leave you free time to refuel and sample some of the rich Brazilian gastronomy. Afterward, we'll meet again to continue exploring Paranapiacaba and its typical architecture with colorful houses.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll arrive after 6 hours of hiking.
