Tour Options
When making your reservation, you can choose between the following options. Both start and end at the entrance to the Sanber winery, include an English-speaking guide, and feature a tasting of 12 different wines. Below are the details of each option:
Standard Tour (1.5 hours)
After meeting at the winery entrance, we'll step inside and begin to immerse ourselves in the history, hard work, and passion that shaped the soul of Bituruna.
The experience begins in Sanber's museum and historic house, carefully preserved over time. Inside, the soft creaking of the wooden floors and the whisper of an old Italian melody playing on a turntable will welcome us. Every corner features antique furniture marked by age and sepia-toned photographs.
After learning about Sanber's origins, we'll head to the winery facilities. Here we'll meet the winemakers, who will reveal the secrets of winemaking. Additionally, tour the vineyards and learn about grape selection, pressing, fermentation in stainless-steel tanks, and barrel aging. All this, accompanied by the aromas of must and oak at every step.
We’ll then enter the tasting room, where we'll sample the 12 Sanber wine labels, including reds, whites, sparkling wines, and rosés. Among them, the standout is Casca Dura, the pride of Bituruna, known for its firm character, depth, and a structure that reflects the region’s identity.
- Schedule: This tour operates Tuesday to Sunday at 8 am and 2 pm.
Tour + Tractor Ride (2.5 hours)
This option follows the same itinerary as the standard tour. The difference is that we'll spend additional time exploring the vineyards aboard a Sanber winery tractor. We’ll also ride through a nearby Araucaria forest for an extra scenic touch. The experience culminates with the wine tasting.
- Schedule: This tour operates daily at 9 am and 2 pm.
