At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Progreso to begin our journey toward inner Yucatán. After approximately 1.5 hours, we'll reach Santa Bárbara, where an experience of nature and culture awaits us. It's time to immerse yourself in this special site!
Once we arrive, we'll head toward the cenotes on a bike or board a truck, and a carriage pulled by donkeys that will give this day trip an authentic touch. During the journey, we'll tell you all you need to know to make the most of this adventure.
In Santa Bárbara, you'll have access to three cenotes with unique characteristics. The Cenote Cascabel is an underwater pool inside a grotto surrounded by hanging roots that will captivate you with its mystic ambiance.
The Cenote Xooch is a semi-open cenote with emerald waters, adorned with stalactites of various sizes. Here, you'll have the chance to relax, swim, and take in the natural beauty of this incredible site.
The Cenote Pool Cocom is an open cenote surrounded by luxurious vegetation and small artificial waterfalls. With a depth of 49.2 feet (15 meters), it's perfect to swim and marvel at the impressive scenery surrounding this natural gem, which you'll see from its lookout.
